My September 2018 Goals

I'm posting this a little ahead of September as I'll be away the first weekend and also because I've nailed my goals from August and want to get going with some new ones for September! Here's how this last month has gone.

Goal one - track my progress
I've been really good at keeping track of all my workouts and intend to keep it up moving forward. I got myself a new notebook and everything, exciting I know! By keeping notes on each of my sessions I'm able to see how my progress is going. I'll be able to keep notes of personal bests I'm achieving and where my strengths and weaknesses are. It's also helping to keep me motivated, especially on those weeks where I'm working all the hours and not particularly 'feeling it'.

Goal two - sign up to a pre- and post-natal course
I've signed up to complete the course with a local company, Smart Qualifications and I can't wait to get back to studying. Yes, I'm a little bit of a book geek but also really excited to learn something new and add to my professional development. The learning never stops in this industry.

September's Goals

Be better at seeing friends
Now I know this isn't really a fitness goal but it's definitely one that's going to be good for my well-being. I see a lot of my local friends but I've not been so good and seeing friends a little further a field. Since leaving London I've been back once this year! Financially it wasn't always possible but now things are a little more stable I need to make some time before this year flies by.

Blog More
I've got a list of blogs I've been meaning to write and do some research on and just haven't made the time. I know this has been a goal of mine before but to keep myself accountable I'm doing it again. I'm going to aim for at least 1 a week, anymore will be a bonus!

Plan and schedule some Instagram content
This is something else I've dipped in and out of over this year and not always had the time for. With new jobs and just life, it always get put on the back burner but I'm planning on making a schedule for the whole month and seeing if I can stick to it. Don't forget to follow me on @chinupcharles to see how it goes! And of course to view some content and maybe learn a thing or two.
