Strong Mum and Baby Class

Are you a Mum wanting to return to exercise? Are you a Mum looking for a class you can bring your baby to? Look no further, I’ve got you covered.

This 5 week progressive class is designed to get you moving again after having a baby. Each week will progress from the previous week building a strong foundation. The class will be limited to 10 Mums so Charley is able to give her full attention to each Mum and support them. The class will include:

  • Strength training focusing on fundamental movement patterns for motherhood

  • Stretches to help with those aches and pains

  • Core and pelvic floor exercises

  • After each 45 minute class there will be time to chat and ask questions with Charley and the other Mums.

How soon can I join the class after having a baby?

Once you’ve been cleared for exercise with your GP at your 6 week check up, you can start the class. If you have had a c-section, it is recommended to wait at least 10-12 weeks before starting exercise. If you have not had your 6 week check please get in touch with your GP and request one.

What about the little ones?

There will be space for the babies to lay and sit on mats whilst you can keep a close eye on them during your workout. Babies, crawlers and walkers are welcome at the class, however, please remember the children are your responsibility during the class. Please remember for mobile children that their safety, along with the safety of other children and members of the class is important and for them not to get under anyone else’s feet when exercising. The hall has plenty of space for your to bring toys and activities to keep them occupied. You’re welcome to bring in buggies, seats or anything else they may need. If they need feeding, go ahead. Please don’t worry if they cry during class, Charley will be on hand for cuddles if needed. There are also changing facilities available.


A polite notice that your children are your responsibility during the class as Charley’s focus will be on teaching the class but of course will be on hand to assist where she can.

Costs and Times

The 5 week programme cost £38. The class is designed to attend all 5 sessions to get the most benefit and see results from them. *

The class will take place at West Walton Village Hall, Mill Road, PE14 7EU on Tuesdays from 10:30am-11:15am.

On booking you will be asked to complete a pre screening form to ensure the class is suitable for you.
