19 Goals for 2019

Happy New Year! If you’ve been following my blog for a while you’ll know that last year I set myself goals each month. This year I’ve decided to do things a little differently. Instead of monthly goals I’m going to set myself nineteen goals to work towards over the year. I may decide to set myself some other ones along the way too. These are not only ‘goals’ but things I’d like to do and complete throughout the year. Some are fitness related, others personal and a few business ones in there as well.

I set myself goals to help me work towards a better me. There won’t be any ‘New year, new me’ stuff going on or any drastic changes but I will be working on building my Personal Training business further, getting stronger and hopefully checking some things off the bucket list.

Fitness Goals

  • Be able to do a full unassisted pull up

  • Complete a triathlon

  • Be able to hip thrust and deadlift double my bodyweight

  • Enter 2-3 long runs throughout the year, 10km or more, most likely half marathons

  • Be better at recovery through stretching, yoga, mobility and sports massages

Business Goals

  • Start sending out a monthly newsletter from my blog (don’t forget to subscribe)

  • Sign up to skillshare and utilise for video and photography content

  • Complete my Pad-work qualification

  • Research and possibly sign up for a pilates course

  • Be delivering between 35-40 hours of Personal Training sessions per week

  • Be delivering 2+ classes per week

  • Read more research articles relevant to Personal Training

Personal Goals

  • Complete scrapbook for mine and Alex’s two years together

  • Save, save, save, for a house!

  • Visit two new countries

  • Read more books

  • Learn to be more mindful and look after my wellbeing bettter

  • Switch off from social media at least one hour before bed

  • Every month do something new, whether that be going to a new place, new restaurant or something fun and active

I’ll keep you posted on how I’m getting on throughout the year. Have you set yourself some goals for this year? You may want to start with just one or two and see how you get on. There’s nothing more satisfying than smashing a goal and setting a new one.
