My October Adventures in London

So last month was a busy one but I spent most of it outside of London due to several prior engagements. I haven't visited many new places this month but I'll share the few things that I have been up to with you anyway.

My first and only adventure in London was Date Night with my man. Alex had been working in London for the week so I got the pleasure of his company and we headed out for a mid week treat. The Banc is only a stone's throw away from where I live, I can't believe we hadn't found it before. We shared some hummus and bread to start, the size of the portion could have fed a family of four! Alex opted for the grilled sea bass and being as I was carb loading for my marathon, went for the deluxe burger and sweet potato fries. Both of us really enjoyed our meals and will definitely be back again!

The following weekend I completed the Race for Life marathon. Now this was a whole new adventure and achievement in itself. You can check out my blog here for all the details.

The next couple of weekends I spent outside of London back in Norfolk. The first for a friend's wedding. It was such a beautiful day spent celebrating with everyone! Alex and I stayed the night at the Knights Hill Hotel and Spa after the reception. After dancing the night away and a few too many G&T's we sweated it out in the sauna the next day. Just what we needed to relax and reboot on a Sunday morning.

The second was for my brother's thirtieth birthday. His fiance had organised a surprise meal with all his friends at The Banyan Tree Indian. The look on his face when he walked in was priceless. We enjoyed a lovely meal and continued the celebrations the following day with a family party at home.

All in all it was a fab month making lots more memories, even if they weren't London based. I've got lots of things lined up for November so watch this space!
