Mango, Kiwi and Watermelon Protein Smoothie Recipe

We may be in lockdown but the sun has been shining and we’ve been enjoying a smoothie each morning for breakfast. I usually just throw a load of fruit in and see what happens but this one turned out super delicious so I thought I’d share the recipe with you all. It makes enough for two big glasses or you could put the left overs in the fridge for a snack later on.
Smoothies can be a great way to start the day as you can pack them full of fruit and vegetables. They’re quick to make, with very little mess and can be chopped and changed each day to keep them interesting and you’re nutrients diverse. Enjoy!

Ingredients

30-40g oats
2 scoops vanilla whey protein
2 large handfuls frozen mango
1 kiwi
1 large handful watermelon chunks
2 tbsp greek or natural yoghurt
milk of your choice (approx. 200-300ml)

Method

  1. Add all the ingredients to your blender or nutribullet. Add a good splash of milk, blend and add more if needed depending on the consistency you like.

  2. Pour into 2 glasses or bowls and enjoy!

  3. If you’ve gone for a thick consistency and having in a bowl, you could top with more fruit, granola, nuts or seeds.
