Starting My Fitness Journey

As you've probably guessed from my blog health and fitness has been something I've been passionate about for a while now. Since a young age I've always been active and a gym goer but it wasn't until this last year that I've really got in to the swing of things and started to concentrate more on my training and lifestyle.

So... I've taken a very big leap and decided to throw another challenge at myself to become a Personal Trainer (well at least try). Eeek! I have enrolled on a part-time evening course with Train Fitness which starts next month. It wasn't a decision I made lightly and has been a massive investment for me, one which I hope will pay off. I chose this course because it fits in around my full-time job. I can complete the majority of the course during the 8 weeks in the evenings and then will be doing an extra full week in August.

I'm still not 100% where this course will lead me but I do know it will be a huge learning curve for me and I'm so excited to get stuck in. I've been studying the theory side of the course online for the last month or so and I'm actually really enjoying getting my geek on! It's been a long time since I graduated and a while since I've had to bury my head in the books. I've still got a very long way to go and I'm only just touching the surface of the fitness world but we've all got to start somewhere right?

I'll be keeping you posted on how I'm getting along once the course officially starts and hopefully come August I'll have an even bigger announcement to make! Keep your fingers crossed for me!
